I came to Next Stage Oxford two weeks before the deadline, having focused on Oxford. The response was quick and flexible, and it carried me to an offer. Oxford’s third essay — two thousand words, and far more searching than other schools ask for — would not have been straightforward on my own. Tamura-san had completed the Oxford EMBA himself and knew what the school looks for; with Jeff, we developed the material in Japanese first and then sharpened the language and logic from a native speaker’s perspective.

What decided it for me was that Tamura-san is an Oxford EMBA graduate himself. There is very little written about the EMBA application; I found this site, and the quality of what was there convinced me he could show me the shortest route. The most reassuring part was being shown essays that had actually been admitted, and the profiles of past successful applicants. Knowing early whether I had a realistic chance, and whether I could be ready in time, mattered enormously. Nothing is less efficient than preparing without knowing the standard you are being held to.
